At Strategic Business Support we have selected Xero as our business/accounting package of choice, both for ourselves and for our clients. Our bookkeeping and accounting staff are all Xero certified and have a passion to help small and medium-sized enterprises eliminate the boring side of business by using the efficiencies of Xero, freeing them up to spend more time doing what they love.

We can set your business up on Xero or convert your previous accounting software to Xero (while retaining all transaction history), show you how Xero works, and be there for ongoing Xero support.

Xero is a cloud-based application, meaning that it is accessible from anywhere at any time and on any device; all that is required is a connection to The Internet. The associated powerful mobile app consolidates all Xero’s features into one, enabling you to run your business from the palm of your hand.

Automation of data entry

Xero is able top automate many tasks that require manual input in other applications, thereby significantly reducing tedious, time-consuming data entry activities that are prone to error. For example, Xero bank feeds automatically pull transactions from bank accounts on a daily basis and complete much of the required reconciliation work. Such automation frees up much-needed time and resource to focus on core business activities.

Xero bank feeds and other automation tools enable daily reconciliation of data, rather than having to wait until month-end. For example, at Strategic Business Support we make use of ReceiptBank for automating the collection (at source), processing and publishing of supplier receipts and invoices to Xero, removing the need for manual input and coding of data, as well as the need to retain physical copies of these documents (digital copies are SARS compliant). Access to ReceiptBank and all of its benefits and functionality is free-of-charge to all of our clients.
